was born in San Antonio, Texas, he grew up in a military family attending private schools where he was taught strong values and beliefs. At a young age, he was taught the importance of community, being a helpful citizen and working with honesty and integrity.
He is currently an Air Force Veteran, proud to have served our great nation where he learned: leadership, teamwork, service before self, and to excel at every task. Mr. Garstka graduated from Colorado Technical University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Mr. Garstka has moved to Triana, Alabama in 2017 due his government position transferring him to Redstone Arsenal from Colorado Springs. He currently serves in a Cyber Security role that ensures the security of warfighter systems. After immersing himself with the community, he found himself wanting to serve the town in a greater capacity that benefits all citizens. He truly believes with his government position and Planning and Zoning experience; he will connect with residents and partners to help ensure community needs are met.
